O saxofonista Kamasi Washington, responsável pelo melhor disco de jazz de 2015, conseguiu reunir o time completo de dezenas de músicos no show de lançamento de seu álbum triplo, “The Epic”, com um show épico de quase três horas de duração. Pra nossa alegria isso foi filmado e agora virou um episódio da série “Jazz Night America”, webcast da NPR. Bom show!

Saxophonist Kamasi Washington, responsible for the best jazz album of 2015, managed to reunite a complete group of musicians – dozens of them – for the concert that launched his triple album The Epic (well… indeed!). The equally epic presentation lasted 3 hours. For our yayness, the whole thing was taped and turned into an episode of Jazz Night America series, NPR’s webcast. Elementary watching.
