O inglês Obaro Ejimiwe atende pelo nome artístico de Ghostpoet, uma figura de 24 anos que tem chamado atenção com seu som contemporâneo que passeia entre o hip-hop, dubstep, grime, trip-hop, dub, crunk e indie rock. O cara caiu nas graças de Gilles Peterson que o acolheu no seu selo Brownswood Recordings e, depois de lançar o elogiado EP “The Sound of Strangers” em 2010, chega agora com sua estréia em álbum no ótimo e chapante “Peanut Butter Blues And Melancholy Jam“. Uma das boas novidades de 2011, até o momento. O disco não segue uma linha concreta, cada track tem uma levada, mas todas com um clima meio sombrio e melancólico juntando as diversas linguagens da música urbana inglesa das últimas décadas, ora rimando, ora criando melodias e com excelentes produções.
